Make 2013 the Year You Write Your Book

Well here we are, 1st January 2013. Did you make a New Year’s resolution?

If you didn’t, may I make a suggestion….how about writing that book you’ve always dreamed about? Or, if you’ve already written something, a few random chapters maybe, then can I suggest that you find time to finish it off this year?

Honestly, there’s never been a better time to self-publish, either in printed paperback or online via the Kindle. The market for new books, well promoted, is definitely there. The Kindle readers have revolutionised online publishing and it’s been estimated that people are reading up to four times the amount of books (both paperback and eBooks) than previously. It’s time to ‘go for it’.

Obviously, I’m in business so I’m going to recommend you have the book produced and published by Write Good or published as an eBook for the Kindle and for sale on Amazon with Kindle Publish My – but even if you choose another company or go it alone I do urge you to make THIS YEAR the one you actually finish your book and get it out there and selling.

Promoting your book is the real key to success though.

Without any kind of meaningful promotion your book will struggle. It’s a fact. There’s no denying it. But with a really solid strategic plan for promoting your book through book signings, online promotion on a website of your own, through social media sites, and on Youtube (yes, Youtube) your book could do very well indeed.

In fact the whole business of online book promotion is something I plan to discuss at length later this month, and I’m already writing a short eBook on the subject with all the ‘insider’ tips and hints you’ll ever need to identify and reach your potential readers.

So…get writing….please…..and if you need any help or advice contact me at either of the websites previously mentioned and let’s get your book out there!

About writegoodbooks

I help new writers become published authors through self-publishing. I also offer writers the chance to have their work converted into Kindle eBooks and publish them on the Amazon Kindle store.
